WHAT DOES YOUR WORK DAY LOOK LIKE?

Luckily, I can do my job from home and spend a lot of time on video calls with colleagues to discuss website improvements. With the office closed, I've also been receiving products to be photographed for the website. Although I'm tight on space, I love seeing the products before they appear online. I'm really excited about the new shoes and bags coming soon!

HOW HAVE YOU BEEN UNWINDING?

Usually, watching TV or reading. I really enjoyed The Last Dance and just finished Little Fires Everywhere. I'm a fan of any show with Kerry Washington, she’s amazing! I’m also looking forward to Hamilton coming to Disney TV – loved the musical. Having a balcony has helped, we're outside most evenings and weekends and since lockdown eased, we’ve been for a few walks.

ANY HOBBIES YOU'VE TAKEN UP?

I’m not a sporty person at all but I've been using the Seven app, where you do 7-minute workouts with breaks inbetween. As a way to reduce screen time, I’ve also started to play with my LEGO Architecture set again. One positive result of lockdown is that my orchids are enjoying lots of time with me! I have eight which I have planted in different media. Three have produced new blooms and looking at them instantly lightens my mood.

WHAT HAVE YOU BEEN READING?

I'm usually drawn to non-fiction but lately I've started to slip into a few fiction books. I recently read Eleanor Oliphant is Completely Fine, Invisible Women and Animal Farm. I never reread books but I had a real urge to with Animal Farm, given the extraordinary world we're living in at the moment. Right now, I’m reading Hiding in Plain Sight and Girl, Woman, Other.

WHAT'S YOUR GO-TO FOOD OR DRINK RIGHT NOW?

I love a good gin and tonic! My favourite gin is Isle of Harris Gin, which is infused with local sugar kelp and has a really lovely botanical note. It comes in the most beautiful blue bottle, which once empty, is perfect for displaying flowers I regularly treat myself to.

WHAT ARE YOU LOOKING FORWARD TO MOST WHEN LOCKDOWN ENDS?

All my family are in Germany, so I'm hoping it will be safe soon to go and see them again. I have the cutest little niece who’s growing up super-fast. Last time I tried to FaceTime her, I interrupted a Peppa Pig episode and she kept crying so much I had to call back later. It’s just not the same. I can’t wait to hug her and everyone else.
