Beautiful wool coat and a bargain in the sake. Classic style and should last for years. The inside button made easier to do up and undo by a little opening which is a really thoughtful touch.

Beautiful high quality coat. Many reviews said this coat was on the large size, but in my opinion it is true to size, so just get your normal size in this style. It is a tailored coat so just know this before you get it. I was looking for a more wrap around coat than the tailoring it offered, but it was still a stunning coat.

Size chart is completely inaccurate. According to the measurements I should've been a size 10 with a 12 on top. I ordered the 10 since I saw another review say the coat ran a little large. I got the coat in and it was MASSIVE. I easily could've fit into a 6 and still had wiggle room. Since shipping cost $20 to send it back on top of the $25 shipping to get here I would've wasted $70 on just shipping fees to get the correct sized coat (which was sold out). I've taken it to a tailor to get it sized down but now I'll still be stuck with pockets that are way too low and an expensive visit to get this somewhat fixed. The coat itself is beautiful and incredibly soft which is why I'm still giving it 3 stars but the sizing guide NEEDS to be corrected. I'm in the US and normally wear a size 4 in US sizes. I did all the correct measurements (using the inches chart) so it's not a user error. Hobbs please fix you measurements. Also I wish there were inner pockets, although the outside pockets are quite large.

This coat is made of the most beautiful fabric and is a gorgeous colour and was the perfect length for me.
Sadly, I had to return it as I am between sizes.
However, the lining of the sleeves was not well cut and I would not have kept it even if it had fit. Recently, I have been disappointed by the standard of manufacturing and suspect margins are being cut too much. Perhaps management could look at what they are losing through poor quality and have a rethink.
Please could you also identify the country of manufacturing on your information list.

Loved the coat, style and material. So wanted to keep it but the sleeves were tight. I could get a dress under the coat but not a cosy jumper, essential in winter, so sadly send it back. I order a size 12 so did think about sizing up but then the body would have been too big. :-(

Because the coat is absolutely beautiful. I love the colour, fabric and style. For me it’s very expensive but worth every penny. I’ve been a Hobbs customer for twenty years. Mostly in Marlow but once retired not so much. I would recommend this coat to anyone.

Too expensive for quality, sizing large, not easy to order online from Hobbs and feel confident that quality and design will be up to scratch. Disappointing as I used to buy regularly from Hobbs.
I wore this coat for the first time tonight. Although I’m quite small, I love the length and the feel of the coat. The colour is so rich and just warms you through. Worth every penny
