AGUA DE JAMAICA RECIPE

Refreshing and flavourful, this drink from Signe Johansen’s book, Spirited, is perfect for garden soirées. Just add rum for an extra kick.

INGREDIENTS

  1. 2 hibiscus flower tea bags
  2. ½ pineapple, sliced with the peel
  3. 1 x 330ml bottle ginger beer
  4. 2 limes, sliced into discs
  5. Ice cubes

METHOD

  1. 1.
    Place the tea bags into a pitcher, pour in 1 litre of boiling water and infuse for 10 minutes.

    Remove the bags, add the pineapple slices and allow to cool before mixing in the other ingredients.

    Add the limes and ice cubes to taste.
