WOVEN WOOL

Naturally warm, breathable and sustainable, we've always championed the use of wool fabrics in our collections. From our heritage tweeds, woven at the renowned Yorkshire mill Abraham Moon, to our iconic tailored Tilda coats, our timeless wool pieces are designed to be worn and cherished forever.

And here's the good news: wool requires less washing than other fibres thanks to a natural protective coating that makes it resistant to dirt and dust. But when your wool garments do need cleaning, follow these simple steps.

If your wool garment is machine washable – always check the care label – wash using a specialist wool detergent at 30 degrees with a low spin setting.
Many of our wool styles are dry clean only.

Hang woollen garments to air dry away from sunlight or direct heat sources.

Wool does not need to be washed after every wear. Instead, you can hang your wool garments to ventilate.
If you spot any dust or dirt on your wool garment, brush it away in downward strokes before these particles settle into the fabric.
When pressing wool, always use steam to remove any wrinkles and avoid ironing the fabric when it is completely dry.
