SMART CASUAL SIXTH FORM OUTFITS

The dress code that strikes the perfect balance between sartorial yet relaxed, think of these outfits as structural yet effortless.

As a rule of thumb, keep one part of your outfit tailored – for example a shirt dress, blazer or tapered trouser.

While the other parts of your outfit can lean more into texture and comfort; think sleeveless knit jumpers layered over shirts, roll neck tops, straight trousers, feminine blouses and relaxed jackets.

CASUAL OUTFITS FOR SIXTH FORM

If your sixth form holds a more casual dress code, take this time to enjoy experimenting with different styles. Think comfy yet considered, fun yet functional.

Build your capsule edit from the foundations up with our jersey and midi dresses, contemporary trousers, everyday blazers, and jumpers and cardigans.

WHAT TO WEAR TO AN INTERVIEW

Looking ahead of what's to come after Sixth Form? Interviews are a great way to present your skills to employers, and the more interviews you do – the more confidence you'll build! But when it comes to outfits, first impressions are everything.

For virtual interviews, consider that your camera will only show what top you’re wearing. More specifically, from the neck up. Opt for collared shirts and blouses, or high neck tops.

For interviews in the office or workplace, dress smart and modest. A smart trouser or fitted blazer adds the perfect, sartorial edge.

WHAT TO WEAR ON YOUR FIRST DAY
OF A NEW JOB

Whether you’ve already secured a job offer or manifesting success in your dream role, looking the part on your first day is important. And depending on where you work and what your role is, dress codes can vary.

If you work in a corporate office, opt for suits and sartorial separates.
And while retail, fashion and other industries can be more accepting with outfit choices, we continue to recommend adopting a smart-casual approach and using your first day to recognise what others are wearing.

Machine-washable and crease-resistant, owning a suit has never been easier.
