The coat is absolutely gorgeous to look at and feel. However after one brief wear (30mins max) the ‘wool’ shifted and changed shape where it made contact with my handbag on the inside of the arm. I would expect wear and tear over a decent number of wears but not after one wear. Especially given the price of this item. The store steamed the coat and it helped a little but it was still visible and worried it would continue to get worse with wear. Quality is not to standard for Hobbs.

I love this coat so about two years I bought it in black. I was so pleased with both these purchases but don’t wear black very often but very useful for sombrero occasions. I did purchase the coat in the sale, perhaps that was why the packaging was so basic, and I’m not advocating unnecessary packaging.

Coat arrived promptly which was good. Didn’t have the same gold chain hook loop in it for hanging that the Hobbs Tilda coat I ordered from John Lewis had (exact same coat, just different size) which was disappointing. Packaging poor also, particularly considering cost of coat. Coat was too big and returned for refund a week ago, Royal Mail tracking confirmed delivery but no confirmation of receipt and no refund so far.

This is a beautiful, classic coat. Very well made and a lovely fit - shapely, but not too fitted. I bought a size 14 which is what I would expect to wear in a coat. I’m 5’3” and the coat comes to just about mid knee. I’m really pleased with it.

I normally buy size 18 Tilda coats and have no problem, but this black coat was oddly on the small size and I had to return and keep a size 20 which was too big! I moved the buttons on the size 20 to make smaller and it is now a much better more acceptable fit. I did actually measure the size 18 black coat against a check 18 Tilda coat I already have, and it was definitely smaller across the bust. Not so good for the ego to have a size 20 but worked out in the end!

My Emerald green Tilda coat is simply perfect in every way. I shall treasure it for years to come. The of quality the fabric is superb and so luxurious. Not only is it stylish but it's so comfortable. However my one and only gripe was the packaging, it arrived squeezed into a small black plastic bag. Luckily the coat was fine but l was not impressed, come on Hobbs you can do so much better.

Lovely Navy coat. Am usually a size 6, but after reading reviews that it came up small, I ordered a size 6 & 8 to try. Decided on the 8, as the 6 was definitely tight around and under the arms. It’s not what I would consider a thick winter coat, but it is going to last me for years. Nice length on me. At 5ft 4, it comes just below the knee. Bought in the sale, so very pleased.

The coat is beautifuI, top quality as usual from Hobbs. I have had my eye on it for a while and was pleased to get at a reduced price in the sale.
The only problem was it was very poorly packed, just rolled up and stuffed in the smallest possible plastic bag, luckily the coat was not damaged just very creased.
This is not normal for Hobbs usually packaged very well.

Amazing quality coat. Feels fantastic. Although I returned as petite came back in red so I ordered that and returned this one. It’s on the small size for a 10. Only issue I had was the way it was packaged tightly in plastic wrapping. No box or tissue. Or hanger. Very poor for the money paid.

The coat was beautiful and a nice cut, however to get a £199 coat squashed in to a small bag was very disappointing. I hung the coat up immediately I received it to let the creases drop. I don’t own a steam iron so this was very disappointing to get the coat in this state.

The coat is beautiful and a really good quality. However, it arrived damaged and when I contacted customer service to ask them to send me a replacement they advised that I needed to return the coat and repurchase it. As we are in full lockdown I’m unable to take it to my nearest store to exchange and require to wait 28 days for my online refund. Very disappointing as I obviously want to wear my coat now so I need to re-buy it and wait for a refund. This usually wouldn’t be an issue but because the coat is almost £300, 28 days is a long time to wait, especially just after Christmas.

Stylish fitted coat and soft material. Very flattering. I queried whether the material would bobble over time but the shop manager said she has the black Tilda coat for 2 years and no bobbling. So pleased about that.

Such excellent service delivered super quick, didn’t come boxed, which I was surprised about given the cost and product but it was still well cared for. The coat fits perfectly (size 14 usually, ordered size 14) and the quality is beautiful. Surprised at the poor reviews on here (albeit not many) as it really is perfect.

A fabulous coat. Loved the feel, lightweight but very warm. Had to return to change size. Forgot to put the returns slip in but Hobbs were brilliant and helpful and my refund was with me within two days!!! I love Hobbs clothing, always makes you feel good.

I returned the coat cos the length was bit too short above my knees I prefer after my knees. Also but tight around my body. I always have no problem with my size 16 but not this coat! But it was lovely fabric and style.

Month earlier bought tilda coat in navy also size 10 - perfect fit.
Disappointed fit was so poor in this coat.

First coat I ordered had a flaw in the fabric, second one had a torn sleeve lining. I contacted Hobbs who said they’d send me a form to upload photos and give feedback. Form never arrived. Very shoddy. Unimpressed. Hobbs used to be a good and safe brand

Great coat but unfortunately returned as I ordered a size 6 and as your coats gets smaller they get shorter and cannot be worn with your skirts, why? Not everybody that is small is short? Please make a small longer Tilda coat in Navy.

Beautiful coat but ended up going up a size as quite a narrow fit. Must say your online team were not very helpfu, but in store the team were great and helped to me to exchange no problem.
