Bought in size 10 which fitted just right. About an inch long for me (5ft 4ins) as prefer to wear with flats rather than heels but hemmed them up and now perfect length. A little see through when purchased but this diminished after washing as fibres “roughed up” a little.

The linen is very see through. The areas of the front and back pockets as well as where the zip is are noticeably whiter due the additional fabric which in my opinion doesn't look good. I expected the linen to be heavier and of better quality. So that the trousers are one uniform colour.

I had two pairs of Hobbs linen trousers years ago and worn so much they are now tatty. These are a replacement, long enough for a tall lady (not like shorter styled ones) and invaluable if travelling to hot countries.
