I originally bought this dress for Christmas in red but returned it because the material is so thick, it’s not suitable for Southern Hemisphere Christmas and the Australian summer heat. So I ordered the blue for winter, love the fit, sits below my knee and well made. I got this in the sale, I wouldn’t have paid full price for it.

One of my favourite dresses. Like some of the previous reviews I too have this in the aubergine and I love wearing this dress so when I saw this dress again in a beautiful shade of blue I did not hesitate to buy and bought at sale price with an extra 10% off. As before this dress is too long and will need to be taken to the tailor to have shortened by 5” as I did with the previous dress although have to say I bought the same size but this seems a little loose around the shoulder area and not as fitted. I will still keep as purchased at a very good price and will need to pay my tailor. This dress is beautiful and in my opinion can be worn all year round.

I bought the same style in aubergine in the autumn and had lots of flattering comments. The fit is great and the blue is very flattering.
