A good shape and cut. Great with a hat, and a scarf to liven up the colour a bit, though the light cocoa brown goes with nearly everything and is a good colour in itself. Feels right with jeans and brown boots. The shape is slightly smarter than your average puffer and can be dressed up or down while still keeping warm.

The jacket is a lovely colour, fits well and looks very smart. I ordered a size larger than my last Hobbs (shorter) jacket, to allow for warmer jumpers. I also like that it is machine washable and does not have to be dry-cleaned. The only thing missing, and for which I would give an extra star, is an additional fastener at the top, near the existing top fastener, to prevent the neckline opening wider.

Positives - very pretty collar detail. This is something a bit different and it looked classy. Also the placement of the seams is slimming and avoids a bulky look. A very slimming and flattering coat overall. Wasn't the most practical however, as the collar can't do up fully - so that limits the warmth a little unless you are happy to always wear a scarf. Also there is no hood in the collar - something I would expect at the price. Let's remember, it's a water resistant jacket that is pretty expensive, so a hood should be in the collar. Sorry Hobbs - that's a bit off in terms of details. I sent it back.
