The coat is exceptionally well made and finished. The fabric is substantial -- it is a true spring and autumn coat in my Pacific NW climate. The colour is vibrant and rich. Fits TTS; I can't layer heavy layers beneath it but it works with lighter layers or a single heavier knit. I am 5'4" and the regular size works for me; it comes to my knees.

Beautiful trench coat. The fit is spot on for me. The attention to detail and finishing is excellent So pleased with the quality of this coat. Plenty of spare buttons supplied and a decent chain hook for hanging on a coat stand, as the coat is quite weighty. Glad I went for this slightly shorter length trench, looks great with more formal office wear and dressed down with jeans on a rainy spring day. Have loads of compliments whenever I wear it.

The coat was too long and too heavy (size 10) and not flattering, so I returned it. It cost me €15 delivery to receive it, €21 to send it back (no free int’l returns) and €90 customs duty (even though I thought I was ordering from the Irish site). Deeply disappointed and frustrated about spending €126 on nothing.

The product was very good and I was happy with the quality but I ended getting an email from the courier company stating my product would not be delivered unless I payed €91 customs and duties charges. Also there was an incorrect delivery address. So a problem happened somewhere between Hobbs and the courier company. It was a lesson learned on my behalf to buy local in future. Another uk company informed me they pay customs and duties charges which does help a lot.

The quality of the material and the attention to detail are signatures of Hobbs clothes. The cut and style are perfect giving this trench coat a casual but sophisticated look. The colour, new neutral, is slightly darker in reality than on the Hobbs site, but nevertheless, ideal for Spring.

There was a lot of confusion over if/when I would receive the product. It would have been helpful to hear that this was being sent from a store and there would be a delay - a delay is no problem - but I was worried that the item had gone missing. I spoke with Customer Services both via twitter and email and there were different stories but glad I finally received the item which I really like. I'd say it's quite a large fit, feels good quality but would have preferred a natural fibre for the lining - polyester won't be very breathable.

My trench coat was delivered securely using Hermes. I got a 2 hour window of delivery. Very professional service.
I bought size 8 trench coat in cobalt blue. It is a fun colour and it looks very well made. I am 5 foot 4 and it goes to my knees.
I would probably have preferred the navy colour but this one was much cheaper!
I am waiting for about 10 degrees temperature so I can wear it outside!
I would recommend this coat and hope to buy more Hobbs coats in the future.

Firstly, the product arrived smelling with a very heavy perfume. I am not sure if I’m going to keep it or not yet, but even if I decide to keep this trench coat, I will take it to the store and exchange with a different one as I cannot wear this, it smells really really bad.
As for the coat itself It was not as I expected it initially. The colour is very nice and bright, but the coat doesn’t fit as well as those from other brands. Surely this is just my experience.

I already have two Saskia trench coats and love them. Ordered the navy and so disappointed. First the coat was rolled up and stuffed. into a plastic bag that would have struggled to hold a T-shirt! Once unpacked, the coat was so badly crushed up it was difficult to be enthusiastic, as it certainly didn’t look like the quality item I had eagerly anticipated.. Secondly, after removing from the next layer of plastic, the fabric of the coat had a vague sheen to it and seemed to be overall of lesser quality than my other coats.
Sadly returned,
Hobbs - Why all the plastic? Why such poor presentation? Why is this coat so much less than previous editions?

The coat is excellent quality, I already have a Hobbs Trench Coat so I would have been disappointed if it had not been.
A good fit and colour a lovely rich green.
Unfortunately I was unable to track my order and my order disappeared from my account. I was informed on 12th that my order had been delivered to store and I collected it on the morning of 13th. Something is definitely wrong with system as I received a reminder to collect my order today, 17th. I have never had any problems like this before but it is a bit disconcerting and I will return to my preferred method of shopping - in store.

The sizing is not entirely accurate. The UK sizing doesn't match the EU sizing. It was not entirely clear if the sizing of a country that is not listed on the label, is the same as countries not on the label. For example: would the sizing in the Netherlands be the same as Germany or Spain? Furthermore, Hobbs doesn't answer any emails. So disappointing!! This would be my last purchase, because the customer service is really bad.

Over the years, I have always bought neutral / traditional coloured trench raincoats; however, as green is one of my favourite shades, this tempted me to buy this particular one. I'm usually a size 6 but went for an 8 which is a good fit. Length is a little odd, it needs to be a bit shorter or the proper midi length, but overall I'm pleased with the purchase particulary as this summer we have some showery weather!

I love these trench coats, so stylish and in great colours. My order was processed quickly and the coat was well-packaged in a large box. I know I will get a lot of wear out of it, as I am still wearing my previous one, now seven years old. Would highly recommend.

Great colour, but cut very voluminous. I am a size 10 but the shape of the coat made my hips/butt area look rather large. Also, the fabric is very heavy but not particularly warm and there a so many buttons it would take 10 mins to put it on and take it off each time. I returned it for a refund. It cost $50 to return from Australia, but I would rather lose $50 than the entire cost of the coat (as I would not wear it).

Beautiful coat. Very nice quality...the New Neutral is stunning with the black buttons, giving a more updated and dressy look to an average trench. I am a 6-8 in an USA coat...I ordered a 12 EU. The sizes are true to size, but if if you are between sizes you may want to purchase the smaller, as my 12 was almost too large, but not enough to exchange. Very pleased with this purchases.
