Style that endures. Clothes that last a lifetime. We create designs you'll love so much, you'll never want to part with them and that’s kinder for the planet. But we're just as committed to ensuring they're made in an ethical, responsible and sustainable way too.
At Hobbs, we've always created timeless designs, made to last. Looking beyond the throwaway to champion exceptional craftsmanship and quality. But we know there's more we can do.
Through Hobbs Sustain, we are redefining luxury in ways that consider the world we live in today. Making changes to improve our materials, reduce our impact on the environment and protect the people we work with.
Our journey has only just begun and because your trust means everything to us, we promise to let you know about every step forward we take.
Taking care of everyone across all our operations is really important to us. So we carefully select our suppliers, factories and partners; visit them regularly and work closely together to protect human rights.
We're also making sure we're an inclusive business. Fostering responsible recruitment to ensure that our workplace comprises people of all backgrounds and experiences.
But it's not just within Hobbs that we're looking to make a difference. For years, we've proudly supported Smart Works and Wellbeing of Women, two charities who help to change women's lives for the better. We also actively encourage our stores and employees to support charities by fundraising or volunteering.
We take climate change very seriously and are taking steps to ensure we can become a zero-waste business, operate with high sustainability standards and reduce our emissions.
From reusing store window displays to encouraging cycling to work to using regenerated fibres in our clothing – we're constantly looking at how we can do things differently.
What's more, we aim to be really transparent with you about the changes we're making.
Because we believe our people are our greatest assets, their health and wellbeing is our utmost priority.
That's why we're committed to training Mental Health First Aiders throughout the business, and coordinating our Wellness Week twice a year, which includes workshops and resources on nutrition, fitness and healthy living.
As well as introducing schemes and investing in training to help everyone feel fulfilled and supported at work, whether they work in our stores, London office, Distribution Centre or for one of our suppliers.
We value natural fibres and yarns – ever-present in Hobbs' clothing collections – and are now introducing recycled and regenerated fabrics with high sustainable attributes. Helping us to evolve into and promote a more circular fashion industry.
