Why oh why is there a tendency to spoil a really nice dress which fits well on the shoulders and waist then have it hang in a shapeless manner from the hips down?It did not flatter as per description! please HOBBS be mindful of the overall look , consider opting for a more pencil like finish to the dress thus allowing a woman to feel and look her best. Overall I do love the dress and jacket combination but will definitely return this dress because it’s a considered purchase and additional tailoring would be expensive

This dress does not fit my shape. I ordered a size 12 for the bust, but it is big on the neck, tight on the waist and huge then on my hips (size 10) and as it is panelled on the skirt would mean lots of alteration. The material also seemed very thin in comparison with other similar dresses from Hobbs in previous years. Additionally the hook and eye at the top was big and threw out the levelness at the back of the dress neck once fastened. I usually leave the hook undone but it would leave a big gap with this dress. Not one for me and I felt not up to the usual high standard of finish I usually expect.
