The coat itself is great. It looks great on, and is made of a quality material that feels like it'll last ages. The sizing does run large and I bought a size down because of this. I'm only giving a low rating because I had to pay import duties and taxes. I expected that Hobbs, like other companies with a physical presence in Ireland, would take care of the import duties and taxes. But instead I had to pay almost 40% to DHL to receive my package. It turns out that Hobbs ship everything from the UK and pass the duties and taxes on to the customer. The only mentions of this are in the small print on the website, and in small print on the order confirmation email. It needs to be started clearly in the FAQ so that customers don't get a nasty shock.

The coat is just as appears and is a perfect fit. It’s not too he’s y so is great for jumping in and out of the car. It’s not my usual colour but a pleasant change.

Tried different sizes. The 12 is large for its size. Didn’t purchase due to not finding the right fit but this is a stunning coat and beautiful quality. Wish it had been available in Petite

Good colour. The shoulders even with a smaller size (10) were off my shoulders and I normally wear a 12. The fabric could have been softer but is acceptable for a coat. Good length and nicely made

Loved the coat but have been a Hobbs customer for years and the sizing was way out. It was far too big
