Fabric very thin and see through for a good quality merino.
Very thin almost transparent material. Reckon would be shapeless after first wash.
Lovely jumper, nice fit, my disappointment was with the colour, looked coppery in the picture but was a dark chocolate on arrival. Luckily it still suited me.
According to Hobbs size chart I am a size 18. I ordered size 18. But this was far too large. I had hoped that Hoobs would not be vanity sizing. The size chart should be scrapped or reworked to reflect the actual sizes and measurements. Had to return every item.

It took me awhile to get around to wearing this, but after only two wears it has a hole on the inside of the arm. There is no wool with the extra buttons to use for a repair and I'm quite disappointed. I buy Hobbs for the quality, natural fibers and classic cuts and the quality is not there on this piece.

A nice basic knit. Not sure I would have paid full price for it but I like the button detail on the cuffs.
This is one of those staples I often return too. Bought it to replace a previous Lara jumper I’d worn out. Buttons are a nice touch but I would have preferred them in silver rather than brass. Material feels a little less expensive than previously.
I have a Lara Merino Wool black rib roll neck so wanted another one but, will be returning the new one as not the same and too big!

My forth purchase of this style. Also have it in black, grey and pine green. For reference, I am a size 6/8, of petite built 5'3"(160 cm) in 52 kg and have purchased this in XS. The length is perfect for my petite built and it does keep you warm on those cold winter days. I love the touch of gold buttons on the sleeves which gives it more edge as opposed to just plain wool jumpers in other brands. I have washed it in cold water and steam ironed it too, and have not had any issues.
Quality very good but it wasn't ribbed. Misleading advertising . I kept the top but was a little disappointed .

The chocolate is a beautiful color but I am returning it because I thought the buttons really cheapened the sweater. And because I am petite (5'2) the arms were a little too long and the gold buttons did not help "the bunched up look" of the fabric.
I would have kept it if the buttons were not there and the arms were shorter.
I recently purchased this jumper and it is lovely. Beautiful quality and it has washed up really well. I washed in the machine on a wool cycle and dried it over the radiator, gently ironed and it has come back as good as new.

Lovely soft roll neck jumper. The colour is more dark green than Khaki which was just what I wanted. I bought the size L and it fits perfectly. Bust size is 38e. Happy as bought in the sale.

Actual jumper is very nice and recipient liked it. However the delivery was very slow and I thought it was not going to arrive for Christmas despite being ordered more than a week before. Unavailable in store in size. So I would think twice about ordering online unless delivery becomes quicker.

Although said Lara rib roll neck in description , it was not ribbed when arrived . Took back to a store and the description is wrong on the website.
Told no rib roll necks this year . Hobbs need to amend website . I was not refunded postage and packaging for something that was not my error.
Thought this was ribbed so returned .
