Hobbs has done it again. Such a comfortable pair of trousers and adaptable to both evening and day wear. The only problem I have is they are a little long and I am 5ft3. They are a perfect fit for me around the waist and hips. Thankfully a tailor can adjust the length.

Nice jeans -but i measured and compared to size chart ; actually worried if they would fit at all and they are at least a size too big. Disappointing when you are ordering from overseas and return not really an option due to postage costs.
Lovely jeans, great fit. I love velvet, and this dark blue is lovely.
These are a lovely fit, with a comfort and depth of colour that comes only with velvet that is made from cotton. I would say these are slightly on the big side, and there is some elastic in them, so a size 8 was a perfect fit.

Really poor fit! I ordered the size 8 as I am normally 8-10 but they were still too big & wrinkled on my legs. Granted I am only 5ft & small.

I love the colour of these trousers and was looking for another smart/casual pair. I have quite big legs and went for a size 12 which fit fine. They are slightly big around the waist and hips but a size 10 would have been too tight and uncomfortable especially for sitting in I think.They have a nice level of stretch and fitted fine on my bigger legs and I’m looking forward for the chance to actually wear them!

Jeans are ok but the collection process was a complete fiasco with no tracking functioning and customer services were unsure when the trousers would be available. Finally i just showed up at the shop snd they found my order there so I was very grateful have them in time after all.

The material is nice, the cut is good, and they suit me. The bordeaux colour will fit with the rest of my wardrobe.

Nice colour and fabric but like other Hobbs jeans I find they cling to the leg too much when sitting and don’t move down when you stand up again so you have to keep pulling them down

The waist isn't fitting 100% so it is sliding down and I a keep on pulling it up.

Very nice jeans but a little on the baggy.side. ordered a size 12 but may well return for a size 10.
Love these trousers true to size and slightly higher up the waist than jigsaw skinny jeans.

These didn't suit me, but are lovely.
Super value for money and a not too thick moleskin material. I love the cinnamon colour as it compliments many other colours in my wardrobe.

Very good so far. True to size. But jeans 10 are too big for me hips and waist. BUT too tight on calf. I’m wearing a Hobbs 10 suit which is a little tight. I’m probably between sizes and reluctant to order jeans 10 because of the tight calf

These velvet jeans are fabulous. The fit is really good and the fabric is soft but hard wearing. I like velvet jeans because they are warm and comfortable. I bought these to replace a previous pair. I’m looking forward to wearing them either dressed up or dressed down. Thank you Hobbs, really happy with this purchase.
I needed to purchase a larger size having previously grown out of my size 8 version of these jeans, but there is quite a difference in size around the hips and waist. I will be keeping them though to wear with a jumper over the top for apres ski.
The size was incorrect & much bigger than your usual size 10s. I had wanted the jeans in time for Christmas. Haydn - Hobbs customer services manager - could not have been more helpful or kind. My refund for the jeans that were too big was processed quickly, the postage refunded (which I was particularly grateful for) & the replacement size 8 arrived on Christmas Eve! Very happy customer!

My first pair of velvet jeans as have never found a flattering pair. I love these and they look great dressed up for evenings and parties.
Not so much the actual purchase, jeans are fine, bought the “burgundy” shade in store and your totally customer focussed staff offered me free home delivery for the navy, which I thought I would order online when I arrived home. From the business angle, brilliant! Sale secured in store, so important as the High Street is still flagging. I look forward to making a return visit to your Guildford store.

quality of the material very poor. Supposed to be velvet, but no comparison to the black and blue pairs of the same jeans that I purchased earlier this year.

Love the velvet jean style but cut small compared to other Hobbs trousers. I’m always a 10 but these were too small. 12 would be too big so and to return. If you get the size right they would be a great item for day or night.

The material was awful very cheap and stiff like cardboard, did not even try them on, just taking them out the packaging was enough.
