Decent work dress, good quality (but awkward sleeves)... perhaps for the price you could get something better. Looks like it’ll last years though - keeping it.

good quality dress - well made, smart - will be useful. Slightly big on the top for me (size 10) - but fine. Fits well over hips and tummy.

The dresses were elegant and extremely well made. A fantastic bargain at half price. I ordered the 12 and 14 as I wasn’t sure of the fit.... I’ve not bought from Hobbs before. The 12 fit me perfectly on top but the hips were too wide so I had to return. Thanks

I saw the dress in Brent Cross. Tried it on, unfortunately the cut at the back of the skirt was not stitched well, the lining was coming a bit short and the back of the skirt was not lying smoothly, it was pulling up. The shop assistant kindly found another dress online and ordered it for me to be collected at St Paul's. The second dress had the same problem. I explained I was happy to take it to a repair centre if the dress was reduced so that the difference in price would cover the repair charge. The lady said the problem had to be reported to the head office. Undoubtedly so, but what would the head office do with a dress that has been wrongly stitched? Now the dress is somewhere in storage... Shame

I’m 5’1 and bought size 6. Great cut and fit for m’y body shap. Very few size 6 dress from Hobbs normal can actually fit me But this one did 😀. Great for office and events. Highly recommend.
