Lovely drape to this fabric, which is heavier than expected, but perfect for the British climate. Probably more of an autumn / winter dress, but easy to wear for smart or more casual occasions.

The shop assistant was very helpful and courteous on both occasions I was in the store The store is pleasant and the stock nicely displayed Unfortunately I had to return the dress but I would definitely go there again in the future

Was looking for a dress that I could wear at a late friend's funeral, but wanted something that I could wear at another time (so not to be wasteful with clothing purchases) so chose this as seemed appropriate. When it arrived I found it to be well made, with the body of the dress being fully lined. The arms weren't tight (as another reviewer had mentioned) and amazingly it gave me the appearance of an almost "pear" shape figure when I am actually more apple shaped with no waist. So felt very flattering. It was a little snug on the bust and the buttons gaped a little, but a carefully placed pin soon disguised it. Felt quite feminine and shapely. Quality of this dress was surprisingly good. As for the fit - I'm size 14-16 usually, and had ordered a size 16 which fitted as described. I am a little top heavy, I am also 5ft 2inch with this dress finishing well below the knee, about 1/3 down my calf. I am so pleased with this dress. I wholly recommend it and at a sale price at just over £70 it's a bargain.
