I have a Navy Lara from Last Winter (2017) which is ribbed and much closer fitting than this version which I ordered in Black. It is a plain knit. I am a size 16 and the XL from last year is a good fit. This years style is much bigger, I would need a Large or possibly a Medium. Nevertheless, it is a beautifully made jumper - hence the 5 stars. Just get a size smaller than usual.

Good quality wool very warm and soft to the skin. A bit big I would say. I bought it to wear under short sleeved dresses. Very pleased overall!

I bought this to go with my Hobbs 'Jerrie' dress, and it is a perfect match. The colour is gorgeous, and really brings out the blue in the dress. The fabric is very soft and feels luxurious, and it fits perfectly.

Bought this to complement the Jerrie Dress (sleeveless winter dress). Really works. Also love the colour and I’m sure I’ll also wear it atop trousers / skirt. Love the button detail on the long sleeves.

I had bought 2 colours in the Lara rib roll neck and wanted black.. Ordered without checking it was the same and was surprised when it arrived to find it is plain, thought it looked thinner. However trying it on, it is opaque and of a more loose fit. I have kept it as I find I do prefer it to the rib (never good with a large bust) and it is a useful addition to my wardrobe and soft enough to wear without paying the price of my normal cashmere.

I love it, so soft and of a really high quality and the color is very chic, the picture doesn't do it justice, hopefully Hobbs will add 3D or video of all items to better see the colors and I love the extra touch of buttons on the leaves. I will order it in Navy too and can't wait for Lara roll neck in light blue, moccha and pinewood green.

Another wardrobe staple. These jumpers always fit perfectly and wash well. The Bordeaux colour works so well with other autumn colours and the buttons are a nice detail.

This is an essential buy for winter. I have previously bought several of these in different colours. They are comfortable, cosy and are great value for money. Can be worn with skirts or under pinafore dresses.
