Extremly bad customer Service experience!

Quality dress, lovely colours but too large. Will try to order it in a smaller size. Ordered a 14 which usually fits but too much material around the back.

Loved this dress! It had this cool retro vibe to it. I saw one of the sales associates in-store wearing it and I just had to have it!! Very feminine and flattering. (I found it to be quite slimming) and very unique! Wore it out for drinks. It’s definitely a dress that one can get a lot of wear from at multiple functions.

The dress was a gift for my partner on her birthday - fits perfectly and it looks stunning. But the service was dire, hence the 1*. Hobbs' courier - Hermes - sent me three emails advising of the delivery status, with the last email stating it had been delivered to my home and signed for .... at the same time that I was sat on the train on my daily commute home!!! I tried multiple times calling and 'live chatting' to Hermes, sent numerous emails to Hobbs, which took them about one week to respond (and I'd rang the customer services number four times). I advised Hobbs of the dishonesty evidenced by Hermes and the overall service levels were simply shocking. While the December period is very challenging for internet retailers, this is no excuse for blatant lies, claiming goods have been signed for when the house was empty. Oh, and Hermes also said that I should check with my neighbours, even though no card had been put through my door!! And I live on a street with 40-50 houses. And then ...... a knock at the door in the evenin from a very apologetic Hermes driver WITH the dress - amazing how it came to be delivered twice. To cap it all, the packaging had been damaged, with a puncture hole through the top, which was duly emailed to Hobbs. I don't mind if I know a delivery is going to be late provided I have been told, but lying is unacceptable
