The Hackness Jacket did not have the quality as the Blake jacket I purchased. There was a considerable difference.

This is a lovely jacket and fabric nice and not itchy. I ordered the blue and red to try in a 10. Both are lovely colours especially the blue, a nice dark blue onto a teal blue. Very long in the arms on me but I am petite. I am normally 8-10 on top, 34B, but the 10 was snug across chest. So a great jacket if your arms are long enough and I would say size up. I had to regretfully send back
Loved the look of this jacket and the colours, but the fit was too close for me so regretfully returned.
So pleased with this jacket and glad I purchased it. Looks lovely with black trousers or skirt for work and dressed down with skinny black jeans and red shoes.
I have the red colour jacket - colour is nice and bright, as pictured. Great, flattering cut. Sleeves are a bit long but i am petite, so i guess it will be no problem for others.
I’m size 8 but this one is a bit tight around the shoulders and the chest so I’ve returned it
I've been looking for this kind of style jacket for years to replace an older one and this one fit the bill perfectly. Only the sizing is too small. Go up at least one size or even two if you want to wear bulky knitwear underneath.
Very nice classical jacket - but please size down - I am a 10 in trench coats forms Hobbs but definitively a 12 for this jacket.
My wife was delighted with her new Harkness jacket which was a Christmas gift from me. She loved in particular the fabric: Harris Tweed, the colour: Peacock Navy and the style.
Was a size too small for her, but managed to exchange for a larger size at local Hobbs outlet whose personnel were very helpful.
The jacket is a must for your wardrobe in the red colour. When putting up the collar it brings something extra and is young looking without being over the top. Looks great with smart trousers or jeans. The fit is amazing and length is flattering. Highly recommended.
I bought the jacket in saffron, hoping it would go with a forest green dress. It does, perfectly. It is quite a snug fit, so I wouldn't wear it over a winter jumper - probably a shirt or T shirt. If you want to wear it over a jumper, probably go up a size. It looks great with my dress - but equally stylish with jeans and a blouse.

I’ve been chasing a blue suit for ages, so I bought this jacket to go with the matching skirt (20% off, of course!) It fits like a glove, but beware: only because the assistant advised me to go for a size 14 not my normal 12, and she was right. It's warm, tailored beautifully, and ever so smart!

I bought this jacket in the orange colour last year and was delighted to see it again in the tan colour. It fits snuggly which I prefer, and works well with so many items in my wardrobe. Perfect for autumn.

I tried this in Cambridge and what a great staff there, so helpful and sweet that should be said, love loved the coat but still undecided to buy in saffron or in that oh so gorgeously beautiful blue. It made me feel like the young queen Elizabeth in the series called The Crown. It has a powerful blue which goes great with the pencil skirt on any color of high heel courts. So elegant. But I love Saffron too that matches my olive skin tone as blue wears me a bit down, but sadly no matching skirt with it. But I may buy the blue to make an entrée in class.

The style and quality are excellent. I am a size 10 and have lost a bit of weight recently due to illness and the jacket is quit a snug fit. I am happy with this as I can still wear my thermal vest (sad I know) and a sweater beneath it.
Liked it so much, I splashed out on the red one too to make even better use of other items in the cupboard!
Would suggest you try on if possible before buying.
