This is a beautiful coat. A great length and a lovely feel. I wasn’t too sure at first of the gold buttons but after trying the coat on for a few times I love it. The red is an amazing colour, but red is my favourite colour anyway. I would definitely recommend this coat. Well worth the money as I bought it in the sale too so a double whammy for me. Thanks so very much Hobbs for having such amazing coats and clothes. I could buy everything in the shop I absolutely love Hobbs. If I win the lottery tonight I will be back tomorrow to buy everything.

Bought this coat in red and am very pleased with how it looks. I am between sizes and had to get the larger size for it to sit properly as there are only buttons at the very top.
This is a classic coat, double breasted, with gold buttons and inverted pleat at the back. The red is a little duller than the photographs give the impression of, and the coat is a little shorter than I would have liked. Although it was a great sale price I decided to return it as double breasted coats especially with shiny buttons don't suit me. I've ordered the fabulous Tilda spring coat in red instead.

This coat arrived today, and I love it! I’m an odd shape and women’s coats don’t usually fit me. I am 5ft 7.5in tall, slim, with wide shoulders and narrow hips. I can often try on a size 16 and it will pull across the bust whilst flapping around the hips. I ordered this coat in a 14 and it fits beautifully. As others have said, the colour is darker and richer than it appears in the photos. The fabric feels and looks almost like a felted wool. Wool usually irritates my skin but this feels lovely and doesn’t itch at all. It’s a fraction above knee length and looks great with jeans and dresses. I managed to get it in the sale for a very good price, but would have happily paid full price for it. Completely chuffed.

My second Hobbs coat and I love it! The Gigi is a great classic coat especially for those winter days/nights. Fabric is rich and high quality. I personally like the buttons although I may lose a few as they appear to be badly stitched to the coat. The fitting is slightly snug so I brought one size up to wear over jumpers or a suit jacket. As other reviews I brought mine at full price and feel cheated as it’s now in the sale. Definitely a coat I will wear for years to come..
Feel like a million dollars in this coat. A fabulous fit and gorgeous bright red in colour - makes the grey skies fly away immediately! Love the fit and especially the gorgeous gold buttons really set the coat off beautifully
Decided on this coat because of previous reviews and so glad I purchased this in the sale. Beautiful fit and colour will be able to dress up or down in this coat.

Really well crafted beautiful coat. Suits well for my shape - smaller upper part and enough room for hips thanks to the fold in the back. I'm usually between 10 and 12, tried on 12 in the shop (they did not have smaller) and thought it too big, 10 was perfect, if a bit tight fit.
Two buttons means it's easy to close and open, but also means that the wind can lift the top side easily. I wish it was a tiny bit warmer.
I find most of my purchases from Hobbs to be very good
price altered after delivery, but by me ringing, got price match very satisfied
Managed to get this the sale, what a bargain I thought only to find that it has now been reduced again !!! made me feel really cheated.
So pleased with my new coat purchase. I love everything about it. The style, fabric and quality. It will be in my wardrobe for many years to come. I now want it in red!!
