Dress is alovely colour and fit. Material a little light weight but acceptable. Haven't worn it yet but should prove a very useful dress.

Very comfortable dress. I bought one at a reduced £60 at size 18 it was a bit big but kept and recently bought a further reduced one at £35.00 in size 16. You can't go wrong with this dress. Hides excess fat very well.

This is a gorgeous teal colour and fits really well. I ordered a size 8 though might normally go for a 10, but the fit is perfect. It's machine-washable, which makes it easy to look after and barely needs any ironing if you hang it up to dry. I also have this dress in navy blue. Easy to dress up/down, works well in the office or on a night out.

Thought this dress looked very attractive online. On arrival not Hobbs' usual standard. Unappealing fabric,frumpy design, poor finish. In fact I sent for 3 dresses and will return two.. Feeling disillusioned with Hobbs at the moment.

Fitted really well but the fabric was clingy and I didn't like the seam down the front of the skirt, which was slightly twisted, not for me.

I loved the style of this dress when I viewed it online but when I received it the material used let it down. It looked like old fashioned under slip material which made it frumpy.Better material e.g. jersey would improve it greatly. Unfortunately I had to return it.

I bought this dress in both midnight and red. I really like the midnight colour ... more navy than purple. Not as pleased with the red ... a bit brighter than I expected. It will become a "red event" dress (i.e., Christmas, Valentine's Day), only, I think, given the colour. I like the dress style from the front. It hangs nicely, appropriate V neck depth, and the pleating at the waist is flattering. I wish the back of the dress was as flattering. If the pleating effect had continued all around the dress, it would hang much better and also look more consistent. Keeping the dresses but think I may need to wear with a cardigan due to the fit of the back?

Online this looked like a really nice dress in a lovely colour . I was very disappointed when I opened it as it looked like a cheap nylon material. I tried it on but still no more impressed so I have returned it.

Ordered this to go out for lunch! I found the dress very heavy, though flattering when on with the fitted waist. However even though I am only 5' 4" I found the length was not right for me

Love this dress. The cut and fit suits my shape. The fabric drape is lovely. It is light and comfortable to wear and it skims and flatters my figure. The colour is also versatile, in between blue/purple. Easy to dress up or down. Pleased with my purchase.

Being only 5' 4" in height I was a bit worried that the v-neckline might plunge too low on me, but the dress turned out fine when it arrived. Another plus: the neckline doesn't gape open when you bend over - a problem small-chested women like me sometimes encounter. The fit is flattering, especially for those who have less-than-flat tummies. A winner!

I bought this - in red - for Xmas parties. Neckline too low for me, I'm 5'2" petite and 68. May suit a taller figure. But it just didn't have a 'wow' factor for me.

Looked fab on, fitted perfectly. It went to the opera to see Don Givornnni. No creasing sitting down and so comfortable.
