Not keen on the material or the way it hung on me so have returned, it was quite an inflexible material and the hem looked quite cardboard-like, the neck was not for me either and I found the extra material around the neck which was meant to be on the inside as part of the seam was difficult to tuck in and stay inside even when just trying on.
Again, 10 was massive over the waist, around the back and neck. No 8's. A shame as it was so smart but just looked baggy and unshapely. Also, I'm a 10, not an 8. And most hobbs dresses fit like a glove at size 10.
Sorcha dress style suits me perfectly as it is a classic slight A line style which looks good with opaque tights and flats. Dress with scarf or long bold necklace. Good quality fabric, would have like it lined but will wear a slip. I am a 12 top and 14 bottom and it fitted well, very fussy about shoulder fit as I am narrow and it's good.

Love this dress, nice and comfortable, very slimming and flattering. A great autumn/winter dress, I am enjoying wearing it.
The dress itself is a good fit (I'm a standard standard size 10) but the fabric quality is disappointing and the finish of the herringbone trim on one of the sleeves could be better. The colour is almost /black and should perhaps be termed 'midnight'? Overall, not quite Hobbs usual standard.

I love Hobbs dresses, tops etc. The dresses fit perfectly with no need for any alterations i.e. shortening. They are my style to a tee. Can't resist them. Like the colours and designs too. All round - fantastic.

The dress was skimpily cut and the care label in the seam caused the seam to wrinkle.
Very comfortable to wear, the fabric is warm and soft.
I ordered size 10 which was way to big. So I reordered size8 which is fine
