I love the skirt, but doesn’t look good on me

Nice skirt, good length. Only problem I've found is that the hooks on the waist band keep coming undone.

This is a gorgeous skirt in a lovely heavy linen blend that won’t be see through in the sun as is the case with many lighter coloured linen garments and is less likely to crease badly as the fabric is a blend. A lovely length and very flattering to curvier women and pear shapes. All positives! However for one reason alone I would not buy it - no attempt has been made to match the patterns cross the centre front opening of the skirt and this just looks wrong. For a skirt that is priced at a whopping £119, this is, in my opinion, an unacceptable oversight. Pattern matching is an important detail that sets well tailored items apart from run of the mill mass produced ones. Hobbs has let themselves down on this. ( I notice the same issue with the pineapple print garments - which also look odd).
