The little black dress with an oriental twist. A red-hued sash wraps around the waist for a nod to traditional Japanese design. But when you'd prefer a more low-key look, simply detach it - the button fastenings are cleverly designed to tuck back in. The pleated shoulder and slit detail provides the final touch. Centre zip back fastening. Model is 175cm/5'9'' and is wearing a size UK 8.

This dress was a little disappointing, as it looks better in the photos. Personally, I thought the material was not as good as Hobbs usual quality of fabric and the fit was not great.

This dress is a dream. I bought the size 18 because I am tall and curvy. It is fitted in all the right places and hangs nice. I cannot wait to wear it!

The dress is perfect, fits beautifully and is well made as you would expect from Hobbs. Excellent service as delivered within a couple of days to nearest store for click and collect. The staff let me try it on and then steam pressed it for me! Thank you very much!

I ordered this alongside three other dresses in the sale. The fabric is beautiful and the bodice styling is unusual and flattering. The side slit was interesting and the skirt length was good. It would be a great LBD but the sash is the real differential here. It's a stand out feature and the button fastening is very clever as it is easy to conceal. Not sure if it's a keeper though.

This dress fits very true to size and looks gorgeous on. Lovely soft fabric and the sash adds a real wow element. The small slit up the side adds interest. Beautiful dress and a bargain in the sale.

I don't know what this dress is like because I'm still waiting to receive it! I was sent the wrong item (a skirt) and have been unable to get through to Customer Services on the phone and they have failed to respond to my emails for the past 7 days. I have now returned the skirt and am still waiting to hear from Hobbs and receive what I ordered. However, this is the last item I will order from this company.
