Well the original Evalina Burgundy Coat I ordered was lost by Hermes and Customer Services said they couldn’t find a replacement and returned my money. Several weeks later I saw there were more coats on Hobbs website so ordered again and it was delivered and it is very nice. All’s well that ends well I guess!

I did not like the quality of the material. Although it was wool the aspect was cheep, peeling and baggy.

it is the perfect fit for my standard size, and the arms were not too long as many coats are. Love the colour and length, and it's first outing was to the Cheltenham Races...kept me warm all day outside

This is a really beautiful coat. I'm a 5'6 & size 10-12 and originally bought the 10 which was a little snug, I exchanged it for the 12 which fits perfectly. Classy, well cut, timeless coat. Looks great with my camel leopard print scarf.

Classy coat. The Evalina coat is made out of lovely material. It is a great fit and looks like a ‘quality’ coat. One minor problem is that thread attaching each of the buttons on the front of the coat was uncut. I tugged the thread to see if it would unravel however the buttons were secure so it was just an aesthetic problem but the threads gave an unfinished look to the coat.

Poor quality. When I received this I immediately adored the colour. At first glance it is a beautiful coat and I was very excited. Even when I tried it on the fit was perfect. However a closer look at the wool showed it had bobbled and my husband actually asked if it had been worn already. Sadly I have had to return it for that reason only.

Loved the colour online. Returned this coat as I found the colour to be more brown than dark red and the style of the coat didn’t suit me as well as my Hobbs trench style wool coat. However the fabric quality is still good.

If this coat had come below the knee I would have given it 5 stars, so that I could wear it over a skirt or dress. However it does look smart over a pair of black trousers.

I love this coat. The colour is a beautiful dark red more than a typical burgundy. Sizewise I am usually between a large 8 and a small 10. I went for the size 8 in this coat and it is a snug fit but I think this style of coat looks best fitted. The size 10 would be roomier but wouldn't be as flattering a fit. It is a very warm coat and fabric is very nice. So overall I am very pleased with my purchase.

My new favourite coat. It is a lovely deep dark shade of red, and the perfect shape for me with a slightly fitted waist and A-line skirt. It looks just like the photos on the website. Thank you Hobbs!
