Beautiful dress. Fit is perfect. I am size 8 and 5 feet 1 inch. This dress is not from petite section but I took the chance. If I wear it with heels it's perfect but can do without as well. I made it 2 inch shorter just because I could do it. I had many compliments and that made me a very happy customer ☺️
Returned as just didn't suit me. The linen is very heavy and the pattern overpowering, particularly if you are more of a petite build.
I've resisted the urge to buy a Twitchill dress for a while but couldn't resist this pattern and the same price. It is very Betty Draped from Mad Men, but it fits perfectly and is very comfortable, plus it has pockets and is very flattering, so I guess I am a convert now.
Dress was just as pictured. Absolutely beautiful. It arrived quickly!
This dress came with a security tag, I emailed Hobbs and asked what to do, I explained I didn’t live near a Hobbs store, after waiting 4 days for a reply they said to take it to a stand alone store with a receipt , I replied again that I didn’t live near a store and 7 days later I’m still waiting for a reply, unfortunately I’ve decided to send it back
I was delighted to receive this dress. It was even more lovely than I had expected and I spent a great time swishing about in front of the mirror.
As with all Hobbs clothes this dress fits well and I feel very smart.

It is made of linen, which is very comfortable. Very stylish, the belt is such a great design. You can dress it up or down with different shoes and accessories. The armhole is just right in place, not too big or too small. If you have very slim arms this dress will give you a fantastic look. True to size, but slightly tight around the bust area.

I saw someone wearing this dress at Wimbledon, and noticed how cool it looked, in the heat of the day.
Got my size in the sale today, and am thrilled with the quality of the linen and the cooling green pattern. Have always been deterred by not being able to remove the sash on the Twitchell dress, but this time it looks lovely.

I am so glad the staff at my local branch persuaded me to try this dress. I was reluctant because I usually wear a shift shape. However, once I was wearing the dress I was converted. The shape is a great boost to a poorly defined Waist.
Very comfortable, even in this hot weather, the dress washes and irons well. TIP: I use a little spray starch when ironing linen as I find it provides a better finish with improved crease resistance.

Delighted with this dress which I have bought for a wedding but think I’ll wear on lots of occasions. I struggle with Hobbs sizings because size 12s can be too tight on my waist whilst size 14s are far too roomy in the bust area and generally look too large. This dress fitted perfectly and the large sash adds extra styling. The shop assistants tied the sash around my waist but having looked at the dress on the website and tried it in person, the sash is better tied across the midriff. The linen is a good weight but NB it isn’t lined so I think I’ll need to wear a some sort of slip / petticoat underneath. The only thing that’s lacking is a co-ordinating cardigan!

This dress arrived today and I can't wait to wear it on my holidays. It's very flattering at the waistline and a good weight linen which hangs perfectly below the knee. I bought it for a cruise for general evening wear but I would say it can be worn on any summer's day or even as a wedding guest!
