I ordered the Carly blue ( sequin) dress, and I was sent a floral multi coloured dress with some blue in it. Not an easy mistake for a dispatcher to make as the Carly Blue dress is the only dress listed with one colour " blue". All the other Carly dresses on the website are listed as multi floral or two colours minimum..
I am very disappointed as this is the second time I have missed out on receiving after successful payment the Carly blue dress with sequins. The last time was pre covid over two years ago when order cancelled for no apparant reason, now this due to an error?!

I wasn’t expecting a fault with how the dress was designed from HOBBS if it was any other high street brand I would understand. I wear a size 8 always as it fits me well. I really liked the dress but as soon as I put it on and zipped it the fitting was perfect from below the chest but become all loose from the top (shoulders), without zipping it looks nice. As soon as I put the zip up the fitting goes all over, I have given it to a taylor to fix it as I really like the print and colour

I love the material and the design of the dress but it is badly sewn at the back and gapes out from the top fastening. I’ve reported this to Hobbs who told me I could reorder to see if a replacement fitted better and they would give me free delivery and I should return the original. However despite it only being a matter of a couple of days, the dress is no longer on the website.

The dress is comfortable and flows well good for dancing. Great to wear on a cruise or just an evening out.

Carly dress was extremely creased upon arrival & there were also 2 snags on the fabric. Had to return due to fault & quality. Returned a week ago & still waiting for refund. Will not purchase direct from Hobbs again

I already have the red and black Carlyl dress. I bought the blue one for a wedding next summer. Unfortunately the dress in blue didn't suit me so I returned it.
lovely dress fits really well , unfortunately there was a bit of damage where the stitching had not been finished properly right at the bottom of the dress which was a bit disappointing.

Gorgeous dress. Lovely quality, it fits really well (I'm 5ft9ins, size 12), is very comfortable and easy to wear. Striking enough to dress up and wear for a special occasion and relaxed enough for a more casual day out. I bought it in the sale, so got a bargain, real value for money.

Another beautiful Carly dress. However, as I ordered 2 of this style I decided to keep the Hobbs blue sequin dress and return this one. As with my review of the Carly Sequin Dress Midnight, I wish Hobbs would line their dresses in cotton and not polyester.

I have this dress in the navy... bought summer 2018 ... and loved it. I then decided I’d like a similar dress in a different colour. This dress is lovely too but doesn’t actually fit just as well! It fits but is slightly neater where the ribbon detail is.
I still love it though...ready for a wedding next summer!!
