Combining history and modernity, Collection No.4 - our fourth collaboration in an award winning series with Historic Royal Palaces, the independent charity that cares for many of England's magnificent royal buildings, from the Tower of London to Kensington Palace - has, this season, been inspired by Queen Charlotte's Cottage, an enchanting rustic retreat in the grounds of Kew Palace. The cottage was a gift from King George III to his beloved queen in the early 1770s.
Reflecting this romantic royal narrative, the exclusive collection has a whimsical charm, with lush florals at its heart. Bluebells flourish across a plush linen trench coat, a celebration of the wildflowers that blossom around the royal cottage. A beautiful maxi dress in pale verdigris silk-georgette and a luxurious jacquard dress in pastel-blue come embellished with nasturtiums, a reference to the hand-painted blooms that adorn the cottage walls. This femininity is carried through to the accessories, in the eye-catching resin floral necklace, and the bow pumps in soft eau de nil.
What emerges is a charming collection of expertly crafted and richly nuanced pieces that are designed to be cherished.
