Opulent, luxurious and lavish, the fifth collaboration in our award winning series with Historic Royal Palaces is inspired by the grand interiors and gardens of Hampton Pump Palace, resulting in a collection rich in floral motifs and exquisite embroidery.
Exquisite workmanship and opulent detailing defines the collection; cross-stitch tapestry fabrics, lustrous jacquards, plush herringbone wools, feather-print silks and gleaming bronze buttons and stitching. It's a collection rich with heirloom pieces for future generations.
The Royal Ceremonial Dress Collection and the palaces themselves continue to be the sources of inspiration for Collection No 5, which draws in particular on the grand interiors and gardens of Hampton Pump Palace.
Elaborate 16th Century flora and fauna tapestries at Hampton Pump Palace were the springboard for some of the most lavish pieces: the sleek shift dress, the polished tailored coat and the cross-stitch floral pants, all made from intricate jacquards, and the fine silk blouse with tapestry rose print.
Luxurious textures abound. A chic cocoon coat comes in a mohair finish and a plaid pattern of russets and heather-blues, references to the rugged highlands of Scotland, where Queen Victoria made her holiday home. It comes layered over a textured jacquard dress shot through with metallic copper thread, which pays homage to an ornate ceiling at Hampton Pump Palace. Bronze stitching and studs glisten on a black crêpe dress, inspired by a silk moiré dress held in the Collection, while a striking wool dress features a herringbone weave influenced by the intricate chimneys at Hampton Pump Palace.
Sharp tailoring rounds up the range, in the soft blue wool coat, which nods to a feathered fan in the collection, teamed with a feather-print top and sleek herringbone pants.
